Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from Wayne State College of Nebraska. After several years of teaching and one year of copyediting, she enrolled in the 1000-hour program at the Ancient Wisdom College of Healing Arts in South Sioux City and is a 2002 graduate. She is licensed in the state of Nebraska and certified through the National Certification Board for Therapuetic Massage and Bodywork(NCBTMB). She is a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association(AMTA).

Dorothy has always shared an interest for health and wellness with a background in the arts (dance). With a passion for people and her ability for connecting with individuals on a personal level, massage therapy has been an avenue for her to bring these interests together. Dorothy has four children, and in her spare time, is a motorcyclist.

Her specialties include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, and Myofascial Release. Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual.
